Tango Guitar Workshop with Fernando Rubin
This 3 days are open to all guitarists who are interested in playing, arranging and maybe composing tango music.

Goals and objectives:
-Playing, analyzing and creating rhythmic and expressive tango arrangements for either solo, duo, trio, etc.
-Tango language for guitar:

Different accompaniments models and techniques including marcato in 2/4, 4/4, sincopa etc.
-Typical resource for playing tango “a la parrilla” (with improvised arrangements)
-Get theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to work in the future by your own.

Crossover Guitar Workshop with Ivo Jaklic  www.ivo-jaklic.de

During the 3 days of the workshop I offer to work intensively on 2 compositions from the blues & jazz standard repertoire.
Chord playing, groove variations, walking bass accompaniment will be explored as well as melody playing and improvisation using the pentatonic and arpeggio voicings and blues phrasing.

Further contents are the understanding of song structures and the teaching of music theory. Solo and duo playing are equally part of the workshop. (Chord melody playing e.g. solo version: “Fly me to the Moon”, “Still got the blues”…).
